Marley Cabral wins SP Bodyboard Challenge
Marley Cabral natural from São Vicente was the big winner of the first bodyboard test organized by Maresia Surf Club on the beach of Pedro São. A competition that brought together athletes from the islands of São Vicente, Santo Antão and do Sal around the promotion of modality and environmental preservation.
In second place was the representative of the community of St. Peter, Ramilton, followed by Leo Evora from the Isle do Sal and Philip Lucas from Santo Antão.
The prize in the Expression Session category or the best area maneuver was snatched by Mindelian athlete Ruben Sequeira.
Despite the short waves, the athletes highlighted the sportsmanship among the athletes and respect for the home of the bodyboard, the sea. The next competition, according to the organization, will take place in the town of Tupin, in São Vicente.
The first edition of the SP Bodyboard Challenge featured a partnership and funding from the Ministry of the Sea.
