Ivo and Sofia recently visited for the 3rd time and brought with them bodyboards for the kids here that we now keep in the school and they can take whenever they want. They also brought a tablet with educational programs, games and films that the kids can come and borrow from the school. These SMALL THINGS really make a MASSIVE DIFFERENCE!!

Our boys Tchatchu and Kelton, Tchatchu got through to the Finals in Bodyboard and finished in 2nd Place. Kelton surf managed to get through to the semi finals against people like Mitu and Airton !!

SEPTEMBER 2015 : THE LOCAL BOYS ARE OFF TO COMPETE IN SAO VICENTE!!
With a lot of help from local businesses here in Cape Verde we were able to send 15 locals to a surf competition in Cape Verde. Amazingly one of the boys TCHATCHU 18 years old won the body board competition (this was his first ever competition and the first time he has been off the island) THERE IS SOME SERIOUS YOUNG TALENT HERE!!
